There were indeed recordings by Doukhobors who used musical instrumentation (Frank and Ruby Konken, Peter Gritchen to name a couple). Our main goal initially, was to restore the vocal-only, a cappella recordings and have them available for free download (or CD purchase) - just to preserve this golden era of those recordings - and mainly because it seems to be a diminishing art form. If enough interest is shown we might make arrangements and to restore some of these recordings too.
